BrightBridge Credit Union (BrightBridge) hosted its acclaimed Charity Golf Classic, presented by Synergent, on Monday, June 8, at Atkinson Resort & Country Club. The annual event brought together business partners, community members and BrightBridge teammates for a full day of golf and giving back.
The tournament proudly raised more than $71,000 in support of the BrightBridge Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that plays a vital role in strengthening the communities the credit union serves. Through its support of financial education and community organizations, the Foundation helps expand access to resources that empower individuals and families to build stronger financial futures. Its impact can be seen through ongoing support of organizations such as the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless’ Build A Bed program and the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham, as well as newer initiatives like the Officer Paul Tracey Memorial Scholarship, which honors Officer Tracey’s legacy through education and opportunity.
“We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to make this incredible day so special,” said John J. Howard, President & CEO of BrightBridge Credit Union. “Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Synergent, for being such a great partner to work—and golf—with, and to all of our sponsors for supporting the Foundation’s important work in our communities. Events like this bring people together for a great day on the course while making a meaningful impact. We’re already looking forward to next year!”
With perfect conditions on the course and a strong sense of community spirit, participants enjoyed a memorable day with engaging competition, interactive contests, awards and raffle prizes. Fan favorite activities such as the air cannon and dart board returned, alongside the second year of Speed Golf and the debut of a new highlight: the Money Machine presented by Montagne Powers. Golfers were also treated to a variety of delicious food and beverages, with several holes offering unique snacks and refreshments to keep energy high throughout the day.
Behind the scenes, the event’s success was made possible by the many BrightBridge team members who volunteered their time to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
BrightBridge extends its sincere thanks to all sponsors—including Platinum sponsor TruStage and Palladium sponsors GEEAR and Service Credit Union—for their continued generosity. Their contributions made the event possible and will help drive lasting positive impact across the region.
