What is a routing number?

The Routing Number is also called an ABA number or routing transit number. You can find it in the lower left-hand corner of your checks. Financial institutions use routing numbers in order to process payments electronically. Some examples of electronic payments that we provide are bill pay, checking transactions, and direct deposits!

To transfer money between your own accounts, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your BrightBridge Online Banking account
2. Select the Transfer widget
3. Click the Classic tab
4. Select the account you're transferring From, then the Account you're transferring To
5. Enter the Amount
6. Click Submit Transfer

To transfer money to an BrightBridge member, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your BrightBridge Online Banking account
2. Select the Transfer widget
3. Click the Classic tab
4. Select the Account you're transferring From
5. Click on the "Transfer to another BrightBridge Credit Union member" link
6. Enter the required information
7. Enter the amount
8. Click Submit Transfer

To transfer money to a non-BrightBridge member, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your BrightBridge Online Banking account
2. Select the Bill Pay Widget
3. Set up a new payee with information of the person you're sending money to
4. Enter the amount
5. Click Submit

Yes, your debit card is typically accepted internationally! For security reasons, we do not allow card transactions in sanctioned countries or countries in which U.S. laws prohibit debit activity. If your ATM card is linked to a checking account, it will also be accepted internationally.

We recommend you notify us before traveling internationally so funds in your account remain accessible when you use your debit card. You can set travel notifications by using the debit card management tool through online or mobile banking.
