Absolutely! Members can use the payment transfer options available through their BrightBridge Credit Union online and mobile banking or contact us at 1-800-356-0067 to discuss other ways to make your loan payments including setting up automatic payments.
Yes! You can easily add a new Card or ACH payment method within the Text to Pay experience when making a payment. There is no limit to how many saved payment methods you can save or use. A new payment method does not need to be added every time. You can easily select a method from your saved list to use on future payments.
Yes! Log into your online and mobile banking account using your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. You can either link an external account to make payments or transfer your payment directly from your BrightBridge Credit Union account. Please contact BrightBridge Credit Union’s Collections Department at 1-800-356-0067 extension 22520 Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST so we can assist you in making a payment other than the loan amount.
You will receive a payment reminder via text to which you will respond “PAY”. You will be asked to confirm the payment amount and payment method. NOTE: You will have to set up a preferred method of payment prior to using Text to Pay if you have not already done so.
You will receive a text message from 1-833-844-1078 to opt into BrightBridge Credit Union’s Text to Pay reminders to pay your loan. Once you respond with “START” you will receive a message stating that you have successfully subscribed to payment reminders. If you are unable to locate the opt-in message, please contact us at 1-800-356-0067, extension 22520, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.
You will still have access to set up payment transfers through online and mobile banking. However, you will not receive any text notifications regarding payment reminders and will not be able to make a payment via text message. If you would like to opt back into Text to Pay, you can at any time by texting 1-833-844-1078.
BrightBridge Credit Union uses the latest industry-standard methods and encryption to safely collect, store, transmit, and protect all information you submit. Your bank and account numbers are encrypted and masked, only the last 4 digits are displayed.
Yes. For debit card transactions, each payment made will incur a processing fee of $7.50. ACH payments will incur a processing fee of $2.00. BrightBridge Credit Union offers the ability to use our Text to Pay service to members with no additional service fees attached. However, standard data and message rates may apply through your phone provider. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Some mobile providers send automated Network Messages when you opt in or opt out of a service. These texts keep you informed of how your provider will receive or block text messages from BrightBridge’s Text to Pay service based on your preferences.
