BrightBridge Credit Union (BrightBridge) is honored to announce its Steward sponsorship of Groundwork Lawrence’s 2025 Glow Gala, set to take place on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025. This partnership, which includes a donation of $5,000, reflects BrightBridge’s deep commitment to bolstering community-based organizations across the Merrimack Valley and beyond.
Groundwork Lawrence, a nonprofit that was founded in 1999, has made measurable strides in transforming Lawrence and the surrounding communities through environmental stewardship, food-justice programs, workforce training and resident-driven community development. BrightBridge’s Senior Vice President & Chief Culture Officer Anthony Marino has been a member of Groundwork Lawrence’s Board of Directors for nearly 12 years. When asked about what sets this organization apart, Marino spoke about the people behind the nonprofit.
“There are a number of things that make this organization special, but most importantly, it’s the special people who are involved, from the board members to staff, our devoted volunteers and the Green Team, who are young people we hire each year to help drive education programs throughout Lawrence,” Marino said. “Everyone is extremely committed and active in offering their help and support for anything related to the organization...It's a truly extraordinary organization.”
The Glow Gala will bring together business leaders, philanthropic partners, community champions and residents to celebrate Groundwork Lawrence’s accomplishments and mobilize resources for the year ahead.

BrightBridge’s sponsorship aligns with the credit union’s mission of elevating local organizations that drive positive changes within our communities. In addition to monetary contributions, the credit union encourages team members to engage with our communities through volunteerism.
“Our intent as a credit union is to support the communities we serve, beyond just providing financial services,” said Marino. “Groundwork Lawrence’s mission and operations are premised on the understanding that environmental conditions are inextricably linked to the economic and health of a neighborhood, and their projects help transform local communities. By proudly supporting Groundwork Lawrence, BrightBridge can provide the kind of help that can change people's lives.”
