Haverhill, Mass. – May 8, 2025 BrightBridge Credit Union (BrightBridge) was proud to sponsor a weekly community meal for the third consecutive year at the Haverhill Citizen Center on Welcome Street. Several BrightBridge team members volunteered to help prepare and serve meals to dozens of community members.

Every Monday, the nonprofit Community Meals, Inc. arranges for meals to be prepared by a local chef that are free and open to the public. Local organizations and businesses sponsor these weekly meals and provide volunteers. Along with contributing a monetary donation and desserts from the Market Basket bakery, BrightBridge volunteers helped serve dinner to dozens of Haverhill community members throughout the evening.

BrightBridge staff members volunteers included Anthony Marino, Carmen Brasil, Karen Krisanda, Kristin Cole, Nancy Pierce, Pamela Stamp, Suzanne Reid, Tracy Mermet and Wendi Fallon.

“This is our third consecutive year sponsoring the Haverhill Community Meals and, every spring, our team members look forward to serving the community in this way,” said Marino, who is the senior vice president and chief culture officer at BrightBridge. “We are so grateful for this special opportunity to have a direct impact on the community and connect with people over great food made by Chef Don Herook.”
