Hey everybody,
Since announcing our new name and brand last September, BrightBridge Credit Union has become much more than a name; it embodies our identity, reflects our values and strengthens our culture. It lays the foundation for an exciting and prosperous new chapter for our entire community, including you, our members and our incredible team members who serve you each day. As we celebrate one month of officially operating as BrightBridge Credit Union, I am so grateful for the way this change has been embraced by our community.
Over the past month, I have had the pleasure of visiting several branches to connect with team members and experience our new brand in action. After years of preparation and hard work, I witnessed the stunning transformation of our branches and the enthusiasm of our team as they proudly represented BrightBridge with energy, optimism and sharp new gear.
Even more inspiring was our team’s commitment to sharing that optimism with our members. From festive balloons and snacks to lively conversations about our new look, they understood the significance of this transition for many members—especially those who have banked with us for decades—and welcomed everyone with both compassion and excitement.
Changes as big as this one take time to get used to. And that is not just the case for our members, but our team members and Board of Directors too! Every member of the BrightBridge family comes from one of the wonderful credit unions that make up our family tree, but their differing brands and regions divided our network. To better serve our members and strengthen our role as a financial resource for our community, we realized the need to unify our entire credit union family under one name and brand that represents our values.
We are all going through this important transition together. In a few years, I am confident that the BrightBridge name will be synonymous with our strong company culture and the wonderful feelings and experiences that our members associate with us.
After just one month, I am already seeing so many positive and exciting things happening throughout our credit union. More and more members are embracing these changes and enjoying our refreshed branches and updated website and digital banking platforms. Our internal culture is buzzing with renewed passion as we plan to introduce more products and services to our community.
On a recent commute to work, I saw our bold new billboard standing tall over the highway. If I wasn’t driving, I would’ve paused and taken a photo. But that photo wouldn’t have captured the immense swell of happiness that I felt. So much time, so much work and so much preparation have gone into this effort, and I am thrilled to finally share it with our credit union family and the world.
This is only the beginning of a very bright future. Thank you for walking alongside us.
